Creamlevel Creek specializes in Gun Dog Retriever Training tailored to fit the needs of our dogs and clients. OBEDIENCE is the one biggest key to having a Top Notch Gun Dog. So we spend the first few weeks teaching the commands that will be required to perform the task in the training to come. Then we work short obedience session’s everyday, along with a retrieving program, increasing the level in which your dog can perform these task. As your dog gets better in his/her obedience, we increase the demands by creating distractions while training. By using these distractions (dogs, people, cats, etc.) your dog learns that you and what you are wanting is the focus of attention. This is not intended to create a robot, but more for the safety to the dog. When you are able to have a controlled dog at boat ramps, rest areas, motels, in the house and around the yard, your dog will be in a safer environment. We feel that obedience is the one biggest thing to having an enjoyable hunting partner, and ALL of you hunting buddies will appreciate it also.

Creamlevel Creek has 350 acres, and access to several other properties. We have the land, water and knowledge to get the most out of your dog.  Whether it is rough terrain, heavy cover, or clean cut fields for starting puppies. Open water, stick ups, or flooded backwater, we have the training areas to put your dog in most hunting scenarios. Creamlevel Creek covers the complete spectrum of hunting situation that your dog could be faced with. We teach your dog to work from Duck Blinds, Natural Cover, and out of a Jon Boat giving your dog the ability to be READY to hunt when you get to the field. We work closely with our clients to develop the dog that will fit your needs best. Whether it be shooting mallards in flooded timber, and needing to spend more time in hunting water cover, or extending the distance on land retrieves for the goose hunters. Creamlevel Creek only takes from 5-7 dogs in training at a time. We are able to spend the time needed, and get the maximum out of each dog. We also encourage our clients to participate in the training programs when possible. This assures that you have the knowledge and ability to get the dog to perform at his/her highest level.
